Emily Daccarett Spring Summer 2015 runway show at Ace Museum for LA Fashion Week. The collection was inspired by the movie The Valley of the Dolls which sets the tone and mood for fabric choices. The perfect flawless young beauty appears to have no worries and carries herself that way, all the while harboring deep hidden secrets therefore never being true to herself. The darker colors, blacks, and sheer fabrics reflect on elements of film noir that also played a big role on the theme, in particular, on the short film that opened the runway show.
